Lately I've been enjoying the Undead Poet Society forum. Here is my page over there: Redquill
My two new poems got over 50 views there in one day, and that's never happened on my blog. Your work gets posted immediately. No waiting for someone to decided if it is worthy. Check it out if you are a poet who needs a place to showcase your poetry.

Does Poetry Believe In Me?
I've been writing poetry all my life, and have posted quite a bit of it online. I've had this blog for years and I just noticed I don't have a single follower. Considering poetry is one of the things I'm best at, and went over well in college and creative writing and all that, the lack of recognition makes me sad. I do have fans that comment on my poetry over on Hubpages. Do people read poetry anymore? Or are there just so many billions of poems on the Internet these days that most of us are virtually ignored? I believe in poetry. Does poetry believe in me?

The Heartbreak Poem
The Heartbreak
My heart hurts
I treated you like diamonds
You treated me like dirt
Your indifference is the biggest cruelty
You know she doesn't love you
You are just a part of her entourage
One day she'll add fresh meat
And you won't make the cut
I will have scar tissue then
And I will look the other way
And I won't need you anymore
My heart hurts
I treated you like diamonds
You treated me like dirt
Your indifference is the biggest cruelty
You know she doesn't love you
You are just a part of her entourage
One day she'll add fresh meat
And you won't make the cut
I will have scar tissue then
And I will look the other way
And I won't need you anymore

Foodie Poem by me
Be mellow like Jello. Be smart like a cherry tart. Don't lie like pecan pie. Don't be scorned, be popcorn.
